Expanding Telecommunications Services for Foreign Residents
JELLYFISH began as a telecommunications agency in partnership with major providers like NTT and KDDI. By offering multilingual support for foreign workers and international students, we provided groundbreaking services in a market that, at the time, relied solely on Japanese-language contracts.
Venturing into Education Amid the "300,000 International Students Plan"
In 2010, following the Japanese government’s "300,000 International Students Plan," we expanded into study abroad support for foreign students. Starting in Vietnam, we established language education centers and study abroad services in the Philippines and Indonesia.
We also launched Japanese language schools in Tochigi and Tokyo and pioneered recruitment services specializing in foreign talent.
Shifting to High-Value-Added Fields
Since 2019, JELLYFISH has focused on high-value-added services, streamlining operations and divesting from less strategic areas. Today, our core businesses include recruitment of highly skilled foreign professionals in IT, machinery, and semiconductors, as well as consulting services related to Japanese language education and school establishment.
